Back to Doll Sculpting Design Services

Lewis Goldstein was commissioned to sculpt a doll of Skippy, an original cartoon character created by Percy Crosby in the 1920's, by his granddaughter, Joan Crosby Tibbetts.

After reading Mr. Crosby's stories and studying his artwork, Lewis sculpted the original doll parts and first sets of molds. Together with the artistic talents of others, Skippy, below, came into being.
